Ingenious Partners Ltd (“Ingenious Partners”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our own business and throughout our supply chains.
This policy sets out our approach to identifying and addressing the risk of modern slavery, in line with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. As a small business, we are not currently required by law to publish an annual slavery and human trafficking statement, but we choose to set out our position voluntarily because we believe transparency and good procurement practice go hand in hand.

2. Our Commitment
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any form, including forced labour, bonded or indentured labour, human trafficking, and child labour. We are committed to acting ethically and transparently in all our business dealings and relationships.
3. Our Business and Supply Chains
Ingenious Partners provides procurement consultancy services, helping clients with strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost optimisation. Our own supply chain is limited and primarily consists of professional services providers, software and technology suppliers, and office and operational suppliers.
Because part of our work involves advising clients on their own supplier relationships, we recognise we have a particular responsibility to model good practice and to consider ethical standards, including modern slavery risk, when recommending or engaging suppliers.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to due diligence. We consider modern slavery and ethical sourcing risk as part of how we select and engage our own suppliers and subcontractors, applying a higher level of scrutiny to suppliers and manufacturing partners based outside the UK. Where relevant to the goods or services provided, we request evidence of ethical and social compliance from suppliers, such as recognised social compliance certifications including SMETA, amfori BSCI, WRAP or SEDEX audits, or equivalent evidence, and we take this into account in supplier selection. Where appropriate, we include provisions in our supplier and subcontractor arrangements requiring compliance with applicable modern slavery and labour standards legislation. We encourage clients to consider ethical and modern slavery risk factors as part of their own procurement and supplier selection processes. We review our approach and our supplier base periodically as our business and supply chains develop, including when engaging new suppliers or entering new sourcing markets.
5. Recruitment and Employment Practices
We are committed to ensuring that all individuals working for or on behalf of Ingenious Partners are engaged fairly, lawfully, and with appropriate documentation confirming their right to work. We do not use forced, bonded or involuntary labour, and we do not charge recruitment fees to workers.
6. Raising Concerns
Anyone who has concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our business or supply chains, including employees, contractors, suppliers or members of the public, is encouraged to raise them with us. Concerns can be raised using the contact details in Section 9, and will be treated seriously and in confidence.
Where a concern is raised, we will acknowledge it promptly, assess it, and, where appropriate, investigate further with the relevant supplier or party involved. We will take proportionate action in response to any substantiated concern, which may include seeking further information or assurances from a supplier, reviewing the ongoing suitability of a supplier relationship, or, in serious cases, ending the relationship. No individual raising a genuine concern in good faith will suffer any detriment as a result of doing so.
7. Training and Awareness
We ensure that those involved in procurement and supplier decisions on behalf of Ingenious Partners are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, and understand the importance of considering these risks when selecting and managing suppliers. This awareness is provided as part of onboarding for anyone taking on a procurement or supplier-facing role, and is refreshed periodically to reflect developments in our business, our supply chains, and relevant guidance.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, our supply chains, or relevant legal requirements. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
