1. About us
This website is operated by Ingenious Partners Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13362245, with its registered office at Suite 132, 123 Stratford Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 3ND. Our VAT number is GB489612250. You can contact us at orders@ingeniouspartners.co.uk or on 0121 517 0690. Returns and exchanges are requested through our online returns form.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed through our website. Part A applies to everyone. Part B applies only if you buy as a consumer through our public Shop. Part C applies only if you order through a client account set up for your employer, council, university or other organisation. Please read them before ordering. If you have any questions, contact us before you place your order.
Part A: All orders
3. Your order and our acceptance
When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This is not an acceptance. Our acceptance, and the contract between us, takes place when we email to confirm that your order has been dispatched, or when we accept a client account order as described in Part C. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we decline an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
4. Products and sizes
We make every effort to show products, colours and specifications accurately, but colours on screen can vary and small changes to a manufacturer’s design may occur. Size guides are provided for guidance only. Where a product carries a safety standard (for example EN ISO 20471 or EN ISO 20345), it is supplied as certified by the manufacturer. It is your responsibility, or your employer’s, to decide whether a product is suitable for a particular task or risk.
5. Branded and personalised items
Some items are embroidered, printed or otherwise personalised with a logo, name or other design at your or your organisation’s request. These are made to order, so they cannot be cancelled once production has started and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or do not match the order. Where you supply a logo or design, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
6. Prices and VAT
Prices in the public Shop include VAT at the current rate. Prices in client shops are the prices agreed with your organisation and are also shown including VAT unless your agreement says otherwise. If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.
7. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery charges and options are shown at checkout before you pay. Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 3 working days; branded and made-to-order items take longer and we will give you an estimate. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, but if we cannot deliver within 30 days of accepting your order you may cancel and receive a full refund. Items are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave, or once collected from a campus or site collection point.
8. Campus and site collection
Where collection is offered, orders are sent in a weekly delivery to the named collection point and we will email you when your order is ready. Please collect it within 30 days. If it is not collected, we may return it to our warehouse and contact you to arrange delivery, which may be charged.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier or courier failures, severe weather or industrial action. If this happens we will tell you as soon as possible, and you may cancel any affected order for a full refund.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it quickly.
Part B: Buying as a consumer in the public Shop
12. Payment
Payment is taken by card at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details.
13. Your right to cancel
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive your goods, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days for unbranded items. Full details, including the exceptions for personalised and hygiene-sealed items, are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
14. Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, as set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Part C: Client accounts
15. Accounts and users
Client accounts are set up for organisations under a separate supply agreement or tender. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes priority. Your organisation is responsible for the users it authorises, including users added by its managers, and for telling us promptly when someone should no longer have access.
16. Orders on account
Where your organisation orders on account, an order is accepted when we confirm it. Orders are invoiced to your organisation, quoting any purchase order number provided, and are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless your agreement says otherwise. We may place an account on hold if invoices are overdue.
17. Card payments by client users
Where your organisation’s shop is set up for individual card payment, for example for students or members, you buy as an individual and Part B also applies to you.
18. Returns on client accounts
Unbranded items in their original condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Branded or personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty or not as ordered. Your supply agreement may set different arrangements.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place your order applies to that order.
